The incident involved a car with its keys left inside, leaving the owner unable to gain access. APM Mukah members were immediately dispatched to the location, where they utilised specialised equipment to safely unlock the vehicle. The operation was carried out efficiently, ensuring that the situation remained under control and without damage to the car.

By deploying trained personnel and appropriate tools, APM Mukah ensured that the incident was resolved quickly and safely, providing reassurance to the affected individual and the surrounding community.

APM Mukah reminded residents that in cases involving locked vehicles or similar emergencies, the public should avoid attempting to resolve the situation themselves. The Civil Defence Force emphasised that its role extends to supporting communities in a wide range of situations, from disaster response to daily emergencies.

The operation highlighted the importance of community cooperation with emergency services. By reporting incidents promptly, residents enable authorities to act effectively and prevent complications. APM Mukah continues to encourage vigilance and proactive communication between the public and emergency responders.

For emergencies, APM Mukah can be contacted at 084-872814, a hotline available 24 hours a day. The department reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the public and providing assistance whenever required.

This incident serves as a reminder of the Civil Defence Force’s dedication to ensuring safety and well-being across Sarawak. Whether dealing with natural disasters, hazardous insects, or locked vehicles, APM remains a vital partner in maintaining community resilience.
