KUCHING – Road improvement works have commenced along the Malihah–Kolong stretch, marking a significant step towards enhancing transport safety and convenience for local communities.
The project, which falls under the People’s Special Project initiative for Parliament P.194 Petra Jaya, is aimed at addressing long-standing concerns raised by residents regarding deteriorating road conditions. The Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) has taken swift action to ensure the works are carried out without delay.
Residents had previously voiced dissatisfaction over the state of the route, highlighting issues of discomfort and safety risks for daily commuters. The council’s prompt response has been welcomed by the community, who see the development as a much-needed improvement.
