MATU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Matu District responded promptly to an emergency call on 7 April 2026 involving a resident in Kampung Loba Balu who was suffering from severe back pain and difficulty moving.
The District Operations Control Centre (PKOD) received the call from members of the public, triggering the immediate deployment of APM personnel to the location. Upon arrival, the team conducted initial examinations to assess the victim’s condition.
Following the assessment, the victim was transferred into the APM ambulance for safe transport to Daro Hospital, where further medical treatment could be provided.
The operation was carried out smoothly, with personnel ensuring the victim’s safety throughout the process.
The incident highlights the crucial role of APM in providing rapid assistance to rural communities, where access to immediate medical care can be limited.
