APM Bintulu Assists Elderly Man in Emergency Health Case

BINTULU – The Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) Bintulu responded swiftly to an emergency health case on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, after receiving a call from the public regarding an elderly man in distress.

Upon arrival, APM members found the victim in a weakened state but still responsive. The team immediately transferred him onto an ambulance stretcher before escorting him to Bintulu Hospital for further medical attention.

At the hospital, the patient was handed over to the emergency unit for continued treatment. The operation was carried out smoothly, with no complications reported.

APM Bintulu highlighted the importance of community cooperation in reporting emergencies promptly, as early intervention can make a significant difference in ensuring safety and health outcomes.

The unit reaffirmed its commitment to rapid mobilisation and integrity in service, underscoring its motto of being “Ready Fast With Integrity”.
