LAKMNS Holds Courtesy Visit to Sarawak Mufti Department

KUCHING – The Sarawak State Mosque Welfare Trust Board (LAKMNS) led by its Chief Executive Officer, YBhg. Datu Haji Abdul Hadi bin Dato Sri Haji Abdul Kadir, paid a courtesy visit to the Mufti of Sarawak, Sahibus Samahah Datu Haji Khalidi bin Haji Ibrahim. The meeting was held to strengthen ties between the two institutions and explore areas of cooperation.

During the session, the delegation received a briefing on the functions and responsibilities of the Sarawak Mufti Department.

The courtesy call highlighted the importance of cooperation between religious institutions in Sarawak. LAKMNS plays a central role in managing mosque welfare and related initiatives, while the Mufti Department provides guidance on religious matters and policy.
